Overnight Period Leak Log
A simple overnight leak log for bedtime product timing, wake-ups, sheet or mattress stains, flow notes, clots, pain, fatigue, and visit questions.
An overnight leak can make the morning feel rushed.
Clean up first.
Rest if you can.
Then write down the parts you may forget.
This log is for notes.
It is not medical advice.
It does not tell you what product to use.
For cleanup steps, use the period blood on sheets laundry guide or period blood on mattress notes.
For care prep, use the heavy period visit prep checklist.
One night summary
Fill this in after the leak.
Question Your note Date Period day Time you went to bed Bedtime product or setup Time you woke up Did bleeding wake you? yes / no / not sure Did you change at night? yes / no / not sure What leaked? underwear / pajamas / sheets / mattress / other Any clots? Short notes are enough.
"Leaked through sheet at 3 AM" is useful.
So is "woke twice to change."
Night by night log
Use one row per night.
Date Period day Bedtime setup Sleep time Wake up time Night changes Leak place Clots Pain 0 to 10 Next day note : : : 1 2 3 4 5 6 7+
Do not try to make it neat.
Write what happened.
What to notice
Mark what fits.
I had to change during the night. I woke up because of bleeding. I leaked through underwear. I leaked through pajamas. I leaked onto sheets. I leaked onto the mattress. I saw clots. Pain woke me. I felt very tired the next day. I felt dizzy, weak, or short of breath. This happened more than one night. This period lasted more than 7 days.
These marks do not diagnose anything.
They help you see the pattern.
Cleanup note
The American Cleaning Institute says cold water matters for fresh blood stains.
Hot water can set blood stains.
Check the fabric label before washing.
Use this quick cleanup note.
Item What happened Cleaned? Still needs work? Underwear yes / no Pajamas yes / no Sheet yes / no Mattress cover yes / no Mattress yes / no Towel or blanket yes / no
No stain guide can promise a result.
For fabric steps, use the period blood stain removal checklist.
Privacy note for photos
You do not have to take stain photos.
If you do, think about where they go.
Check:
Photo app. Shared albums. Cloud photo backup. Message thread. Recently deleted folder. Location tags. Work or school device.
For a full cleanup, use the period leak photo location privacy checklist.
Visit questions
You can bring these if overnight leaks keep happening.
Does my night bleeding pattern need follow up? Should I track product changes at night? Should I track clots by size? Should I ask about anemia symptoms? Do I need a blood count or iron check? What symptoms mean I should call sooner? What should I track next cycle?
If bleeding lasts longer than usual, use the long period bleeding log.
For visit prep, use Floriva for gynecologist prep.
