Vaginal Itching Before Period Tracker

A cycle-timing tracker for vaginal itching before a period, with notes for repeat patterns, discharge, odor, burning, swelling, products, and care questions.

Itching before a period can feel like a clue.

It is only one part of the story. Track timing first. Do not name the cause from timing alone.

Use this with the discharge before period tracker, the discharge before period guide, and the gynecologist prep guide.

This page is educational. It is not medical advice.

Quick note for this cycle

Fill this in when itching starts.

Question Your note Date itching started Cycle day Days until period, if you know Itch score, 0 to 10 Burning Swelling Discharge change Odor change Pain when peeing Product that touched the area Did this happen last cycle? Main question for care

Use plain words. "It starts two days before bleeding" is useful.

Daily timing tracker

Use one row per day.

Date Cycle day Days until period Itch 0 to 10 Burn 0 to 10 Swelling Discharge or odor Product notes Period started? : : : : yes / no none / changed yes / no

The timing box is a note. It is not a diagnosis.

Compare cycles

Use this after your period starts.

Cycle When itching started Worst itch score Discharge or odor change Burning or swelling Products noted Care question : This cycle Last cycle Two cycles ago

Look for repeat timing. Also write down what is different this time.

What changed?

Check what fits.

Itching started before bleeding. Itching stopped when bleeding started. Itching kept going during bleeding. Discharge amount changed. Discharge color changed. Odor changed. Burning showed up too. Swelling showed up too. Peeing hurts. A new product touched the area. The same pattern happened before. This pattern is new for me.

For discharge details, use the vaginal discharge color and odor checklist. For yeast like symptoms without a diagnosis, use the yeast infection symptom log.

Product exposure notes

Write down what touched the area this cycle.

Item Your note Pad, liner, or tampon Soap or body wash Wipe or spray Detergent or softener Lubricant or gel New clothing or tight fabric Date first used Date itching started

This table is for history. It does not tell you what to start or stop.

For more detail, use the vulvar irritation product exposure log.

Questions to ask

Pick the questions that fit.

Does this timing pattern matter? Do I need an exam? Do I need a swab or lab test? Should we check discharge, odor, or pH? Could a product exposure matter? Do I need STI testing? What symptoms mean I should call sooner? What should I track next cycle?

If burning is the main symptom, use the vulvar burning symptom notes.

One page visit summary

Fill this in before a visit or message.

Summary item Your note Itching started Cycle day at start Days before period Worst itch score Burning or swelling Discharge or odor change Pain when peeing Product exposure notes Has this happened before? Main question

Bring dates. Bring the pattern. You do not need perfect medical words.

Privacy note

Itching notes can include discharge, products, infection worries, and cycle timing.

Keep only what helps you get care. Share a short summary if that feels better.

Floriva can keep short notes on your device. A paper chart is also fine.
