Birth Control Pharmacy Refill Privacy Card
A plain privacy card for birth control pharmacy refills, reminder labels, texts, emails, receipts, family access, call scripts, and refill summaries.
A refill can leave a trail.
It may show in texts, emails, app alerts, receipts, delivery labels, insurance records, or shared accounts.
This card helps you ask what will show. It also helps you keep your own notes smaller.
It does not make pharmacy records private.

Low detail labels
Use a label that still helps you act.

Do not use a vague label if it will make you miss an important task.
Pharmacy questions
Ask what the system can and cannot change.
What will refill texts say? What will emails say? Can alerts hide medicine names? Can voicemails stay general? Can I choose app only alerts? Can I turn off refill reminders? Can I remove old phone numbers? Can I remove old emails? Who can see my pharmacy profile? Is family access turned on? How do I remove family access? What shows on the receipt? What shows on delivery labels?
Settings vary by pharmacy.
Insurance and account questions
Insurance and account records may be separate from pharmacy settings.
Will a claim be created? What will the claim name say? Will an explanation of benefits be sent? Who can see claims on this plan? Can dependents have separate portal logins? Can I ask for confidential communication? What mailing address is on file? What email is on file? What phone number is on file? What records stay in the portal?
Ask the plan or account holder what choices are available. This card does not give legal advice.

If you need the detail for care, store it where you can find it.
