Birth Control Pill Reminder Privacy Card
A simple privacy card for pill reminders, lock screens, watches, shared phones, backups, and low-detail reminder text.
A reminder can be useful.
It can also say too much.
This card helps you set a pill reminder with less private text. It does not tell you when to take pills. It does not tell you what to do if you miss one.
Use your package instructions for pill directions.
Pick the lowest detail label
Choose words that help you remember.
More private text Lower detail option Birth control pill Check pack Take pill now Daily note Missed pill check Check instructions Pregnancy prevention Health task Pill week 3 Pack note Pharmacy refill Refill note
Use words you will still understand later.
Lock screen check
Check every screen that can show alerts.
Phone lock screen. Phone home screen. Tablet. Watch. Laptop. Car display. Shared smart display. Notification history.
If the text feels too private, hide previews or change the label.
Shared phone check
Use this if another person can see or manage the phone.
Question My answer Who knows the passcode? Who owns the phone plan? Who can see app downloads? Who can see notifications? Who can see backups? Who can see shared calendars? What label feels safe enough?
No setting removes every shared phone risk.
Reminder app check
Before you add pill details, ask:
Does this app need an account? Does it sync to the cloud? Does it show widgets? Does it send email alerts? Does it show on a watch? Does it share with family accounts? Does it use ads or analytics? Can I delete old reminders? Can I export only a short note?
If you do not know, start with a lower detail label.
What not to put in the reminder
Keep instructions out of alerts.
Full pill brand, unless you need it there. Missed pill steps. Sex notes. Pregnancy test notes. Partner names. Clinic address. Pharmacy address. Photos of the pack. Private questions.
Store package instructions where you can find them. Ask a pharmacist if you are unsure.
Simple refill card
Use this as a private note, not a public alert.

If you miss a pill
Do not use this privacy card to decide what to do.
Use this order:
1. Read your package instructions. 2. Call a pharmacist or clinician if you are unsure. 3. Seek urgent care if symptoms feel unsafe. 4. Write down who you spoke with and what they said.
Use the missed birth control pill question list to collect facts before you call.
Monthly cleanup
Delete old screenshots. Clear old reminder notes. Check notification previews. Check widgets. Check watch alerts. Check shared calendars. Check backups. Keep only notes you still need.
Do not delete records you need for care.
Floriva note
Floriva can keep short cycle and symptom notes on your device.
That can be useful for simple birth control context, bleeding notes, or visit questions.
It does not promise privacy. It cannot control screenshots, backups, portals, shared devices, or what you type into other apps.
