Period Gas and Bloating Log
A no-diagnosis period gas and bloating log for gas before period, belly fullness, constipation, stool changes, cycle timing, and visit notes.
Period gas can be awkward to talk about. Bloating can be hard to measure.
This log gives you a simple way to write it down. It is not a diagnosis. It does not give a diet plan or medicine plan.

Severe belly pain Belly pain is getting worse Persistent severe belly pain Blood in stool Black stool Rectal bleeding Vomiting Fever Losing weight without trying Signs of dehydration Pregnancy or possible pregnancy Faintness or dizziness Symptoms feel unsafe

Mayo Clinic notes that constipation can add to gas. OWH lists bloating and a gassy feeling as possible PMS symptoms. Your notes can show if the timing repeats.
Pattern checks
Check what fits.
Gas started before bleeding. Bloating started before bleeding. Constipation showed up too. Loose stool showed up too. Belly pain came with gas. Belly pain came with stool changes. Symptoms eased after pooping. Symptoms eased after passing gas. Symptoms did not ease. Symptoms affected sleep, school, work, or care tasks. The same pattern happened last cycle.
Timing can help. It still does not prove your period caused the symptoms.

Questions to bring to care
Pick what you want to ask.
Could this pattern fit PMS, or should we check other causes? Could constipation be adding to the gas? What symptoms mean I should call right away? Should pregnancy change what we check? Could this be linked with pelvic or uterine pain? What should I track for the next cycle? When should gas or bloating be checked?
For stool timing, use the period poops tracker. For hard stool, use the period constipation log. For loose stool, use the period diarrhea symptom log. For pain with bowel movements, use painful bowel movements during period notes.
