Ovarian Cyst Pain Log

A simple pain log for pelvic pain, side, timing, nausea, fever, bleeding, and questions when an ovarian cyst may be part of the concern.

Pelvic pain can change fast. It can also fade before a visit.

This log helps you write down what happened. It cannot tell you if you have a cyst. It cannot tell if a cyst ruptured or twisted.

Get medical help right away if any of these are happening now:

Sudden severe pelvic or belly pain. Pain with fever or vomiting. Lightheadedness, weakness, or rapid breathing. Severe pain with nausea or vomiting.

Fast safety check

Seek urgent or emergency care if any of these fit.

Pain was sudden and severe. Pain came with fever. Pain came with vomiting. Pain came with nausea and was severe. I felt lightheaded, weak, or faint. My breathing was fast. I felt unsafe waiting.

Do not use this page to decide if care can wait.

Daily pain log

Use one row per day. Put 0 for pain free days.

Date Cycle day Side Pain 0 to 10 Pain type How long Other symptoms : : left, right, center, unsure dull, sharp, pressure, cramp nausea, vomiting, fever, dizzy

Write plain words. "Sharp left pain for two hours" is useful.

Pain episode notes

Use this when pain starts, stops, or changes.

Time What changed Pain 0 to 10 Side What else happened : started, got worse, eased, came back left, right, center, unsure nausea, vomiting, fever, dizzy, weak

If pain was sudden and severe, seek care first. Fill this out later if you can.

Pressure, bloating, and bleeding

Mark what happened that day.

Belly fullness. Pelvic pressure. Bloating. Pain during my period. Unusual bleeding. Spotting. Needing to pee more often. Trouble emptying my bladder. Bowel pressure or trouble emptying. Pain with sex, if relevant.

Skip private details if writing them down is not safe for you.

What may help the visit

Question Your notes When did pain start? Did it start all at once? Which side hurt most? How bad was the worst pain? Did nausea or vomiting happen? Did fever happen? Did bleeding change? Did this affect work, sleep, school, or plans?

You do not need perfect notes. A few clear facts can help.

What to bring

This pain log. Period start dates, if known. Pain episode notes with dates and times. Pregnancy test result, if relevant. Medicine and supplement list. Birth control, IUD, implant, or hormone details. Prior ultrasound, labs, or visit notes, if you have them. Your top questions.

Questions to ask

Could this pain fit an ovarian cyst? What else could cause one sided pelvic pain? Do I need a pregnancy test? Do I need a pelvic exam? Do I need an ultrasound? What symptoms mean I should seek urgent care? What should I track next? Should I use a shorter summary for follow up?

Short visit script

"I am using this log to show the pain pattern. The worst pain was out of 10. It was on the side. It started . I also had . What should we check next?"

Start with sudden severe pain, fever, vomiting, dizziness, or weakness if any happened.

Privacy note

Pain logs can include period dates, sex pain, pregnancy questions, and location clues.

Floriva can keep notes on your device. Paper works too. Use the format you can keep private and bring to care.

If you want a broader list, use the ovarian cyst symptom checklist. If imaging is next, bring the ultrasound question list.
