Perimenopause Migraine Pattern Tracker

A perimenopause migraine pattern tracker for period timing, hot flashes, sleep, aura notes, attack dates, symptoms, medicines, exports, and care questions.

Use this tracker for patterns, not answers.

It can help you see when attacks happen. It can help you bring clear notes to care. It cannot diagnose migraine. It cannot tell you which medicine or hormone to use.

Set up your tracker

Choose one place for short notes.

Paper. A local file. A spreadsheet. Floriva, if you want on device notes.

Use the same words each time. Short notes are easier to review.

Your baseline

Fill this out before you start.

Question Your answer Usual cycle length before changes Usual period length Are periods regular now? Main migraine symptoms Aura history, if any Hot flashes or night sweats Sleep pattern now Current hormones or birth control Medicines or supplements Main goal for tracking

Daily pattern log

Use one row per day. Leave blanks when nothing happened.

Date Cycle day Bleeding Sleep Hot flashes Night sweats Stress Food or drink note Medicine change Migraine? Rating key:

0 means none. 1 means mild. 2 means clear. 3 means strong or disruptive.

Migraine attack log

Use this when an attack starts.

Mayo Clinic says migraine can include nausea, vomiting, and strong light or sound sensitivity. Call your clinician if symptoms are new, severe, or not like your usual pattern.

Period window check

AMF says menstrual migraine may fit attacks that start from two days before a period through the third day of flow.

Use this table after each period.

Period start Two days before Day 1 Day 2 Day 3 Migraine in this window? Yes / no Yes / no Yes / no

Do not force the pattern. "No pattern yet" is a useful answer.

Aura notes

Use this if aura happens.

Date What changed Start time End time New for you? Care note Vision / speech / tingling / other Yes / no Vision / speech / tingling / other Yes / no Vision / speech / tingling / other Yes / no

Bring new or changed aura notes to care. Do not use this tracker to decide if hormones or birth control are safe for you.

Medicine and supplement log

Track what changed. Do not change a medicine amount on your own because of a tracker.

Date Name Started / stopped / changed Amount from label or plan, if known Why it changed What happened after

Weekly pattern check

At the end of each week, look for repeats.

Question Your note How many migraine days happened? Did attacks cluster near bleeding? Did attacks cluster after poor sleep? Did hot flashes or sweats cluster too? Did aura happen? Did nausea or light sensitivity happen? Did any medicine change? What did you miss or cancel? What do you want to ask care?

Care questions

Pick the questions that fit.

Could this pattern fit menstrual migraine? Could perimenopause be part of this change? What else should we rule out? Which symptoms mean I should call sooner? Does my aura history change my care plan? Could my medicines or hormones affect this pattern? What should I track next? What should I avoid putting in an export?

Privacy note

Migraine notes can include period dates, aura, medicines, location, work absences, sex notes, and family details. Keep them where you control access.

Floriva keeps notes on your device. That can reduce server copies. It does not make notes fully private. Exports, backups, screenshots, shared devices, and medical records can still carry your data.

Use the menstrual migraine data privacy checklist before sharing a detailed export.
