Ovarian Cyst Tracking Kit

A full ovarian cyst tracking kit for pain, period changes, rupture urgent care notes, symptom checks, ultrasound visits, treatment questions, and surgery recovery.

Use this kit if you have ovarian cyst symptoms, a diagnosis, or are preparing for imaging, a treatment decision, or surgery recovery.

It gives you one place for pain, period changes, urgent care notes, imaging visits, treatment questions, and surgery recovery.

It is a set of tracking sheets and question lists.

It is not medical advice.

It cannot diagnose an ovarian cyst, tell if a cyst ruptured or twisted, or choose treatment.

Get medical help right away if any of these are happening now:

Sudden severe pelvic or belly pain. Pain with fever or vomiting. Lightheadedness, weakness, or rapid breathing. Severe pain with nausea or vomiting.

What this kit can do

This kit can help you This kit cannot Name symptoms in plain words. Diagnose an ovarian cyst. Show when pain happens. Rule out other causes. Help you prepare for a visit or surgery follow up. Tell you what treatment to use. Help you ask about testing and imaging. Replace urgent care.

Fast safety check

Seek urgent or emergency care if any of these fit. Do not use this kit to decide if care can wait.

Pain was sudden and severe. Pain came with fever or vomiting. I felt lightheaded, weak, or faint. My breathing was fast, or I had cold clammy skin. I feel unsafe waiting.

Symptom checklist

Check what fits. Leave the rest blank.

Pressure and bloating

My belly feels full or my pelvis feels heavy. I feel pressure on one side or feel bloated. Pressure changes during my cycle.

Bladder and bowel changes

I need to pee more often, or have trouble emptying my bladder. I feel bowel pressure or trouble emptying my bowel.

Rupture and urgent care notes

Use this on the way to care or at check in if symptoms feel urgent. It does not tell you what the pain is or tell you to wait.

Question Your note Time pain started Pain location and score, 0 to 10 Sudden or slow start? Constant or comes and goes? Any shoulder pain, fever, or vomiting? Any faintness, weakness, or rapid breathing? Possible pregnancy Recent cyst or imaging history

What to tell the care team

"I have sudden pelvic or belly pain. It started at . The pain is out of 10. I also have . I am worried about a cyst or another urgent cause. I need help checking what is going on."

Ultrasound question list

Use this before or after imaging. It does not read your scan or diagnose a cyst.

Was a cyst seen? Which ovary is it on, and how large is it? Does it look fluid filled, solid, or mixed? Did the report say simple or complex? Was blood flow checked? Was free fluid seen? Was anything unclear? Could this cyst fit my pain pattern, or could ovulation pain, appendix pain, or bowel pain still need review? Do I need repeat ultrasound, and when?

Report words to ask about

Report word Ask this Simple or complex What does this mean in my case? Functional, follicular, corpus luteum Could this relate to ovulation? Dermoid What follow up fits this finding? Endometrioma Could endometriosis need discussion? Free fluid Is this expected or concerning here? Doppler flow Was blood flow checked?

Treatment decision questions

Use this if care choices come up. It helps you ask clear questions. It does not tell you which path to choose.

Watchful waiting and pain plan questions

Why might monitoring fit or not fit my cyst? What symptoms should make me call sooner? What can I use for pain in my case, and what pain level means urgent care?

Medicine and hormonal suppression questions

What symptom is this medicine meant to help, and what can it not do? If hormonal suppression is discussed: what is it meant to reduce, and could it affect fertility goals?

Surgery questions

Why is surgery being discussed, and what would be removed or changed? Would the ovary be preserved if possible? What are the main risks and recovery time? Is a second opinion reasonable?

Fertility questions

How could each option affect pregnancy now or later? Could the cyst type or surgery affect fertility goals?

Surgery recovery log

Use this after surgery. Follow your surgeon's instructions first. This does not give a recovery timeline or tell you what is normal.

Date Pain Bleeding Incision notes Food and fluids Bowel and bladder notes Movement Questions

Follow up questions

What was found during surgery? What type of cyst was removed, and was pathology sent? What symptoms should improve, and what symptoms mean I should call right away? What activity limits still apply? When can I return to work, school, or exercise?

Pattern review

Answer these after one cycle or after a symptom episode.

Question Your notes When did pain start? Did it start all at once? Which side hurt most, and how bad was the worst pain? Did nausea, vomiting, or fever happen? Did bleeding change? Did this affect work, sleep, school, or plans?

Short visit script

Start with sudden severe pain, fever, vomiting, dizziness, or weakness if any happened.

Privacy note

Ovarian cyst notes can include period dates, sex pain, pregnancy concerns, and location clues. Urgent care may not need your full cycle history; a short pain timeline can be enough.

Floriva can help you keep short notes on your device. Paper works too. Use the record you can keep up with and bring to care.
