The answer is yes. Clue stores user data on servers. Those servers are subject to legal process via mutual legal assistance treaties (MLATs), which allow US law enforcement to request data from European companies. GDPR creates friction for this process, but it does not eliminate it.

GDPR compliance is a legal and operational standard. It means Clue follows specific rules about how it handles your data. It does not mean the data is cryptographically inaccessible or that Clue has no data to hand over.

On-device storage is an architectural property. When your period data is stored only on your device, there is no server-side record to subpoena. The legal system cannot compel a company to produce data it does not have.
