Period Calculator Planning Sheet

A plain period calculator planning sheet for estimating a next period date, checking the date range, and planning supplies without calling the estimate exact.

A period calculator is a calendar guess.

It can help you plan supplies, travel, school, work, or clothes.

It cannot promise the day your period will start.

Use this sheet with dates you already know.

Step 1: write past start dates

Use the first day your period started.

Period Start date Notes I want to keep Most recent 1 cycle ago 2 cycles ago 3 cycles ago 4 cycles ago 5 cycles ago

Short notes are enough.

Try "travel," "sick," "stress," "bad sleep," or "not sure."

Step 2: count cycle length

Count from one start date to the next start date.

Do not count from the last day of bleeding.

From this start date To next start date Days between

If you need a focused table, use the cycle length calculator worksheet.

Step 3: make a simple estimate

Pick one method.

Method How to use it Useful when Last cycle only Add the last cycle length to your last start date You have only two dates Average Add your average cycle length to your last start date Your cycles are close together Range Use your shortest and longest recent cycle Your dates move around

Write the estimate here.

Field Your note Last period start date Shortest recent cycle Longest recent cycle Average cycle length, if useful Earliest estimate Middle estimate Latest estimate

Use the range for real plans.

For example: "I may start between July 18 and July 22."

Step 4: plan around the range

Plan area What to do before the range Bag or locker Add pads, tampons, cup, disc, underwear, or wipes Work or school Note the days you may want backup supplies Travel Pack enough products for the full range Sleep Put products where you can reach them Laundry Wash period underwear or dark clothes early Notes Keep only the details you need

This plan is for comfort and memory.

It is not a health check.

Quick calculator card

Use this when you only need one answer.

Question Your answer Last period started on My usual cycle is about Add that many days My next period may start near My safer planning range is Supplies I need before then

For a tighter next date sheet, use the next period date estimate worksheet.

What sources say

Office on Women's Health says a cycle is counted from the first day of your period to the first day of your next period.

It also says a normal cycle lasts 24 to 38 days for many adults.

MedlinePlus says most cycles last about 28 days, but shorter or longer cycles can still happen.

Those facts are useful for date math.

They do not make one estimate exact.

Keep the note private

Period calculator notes can show dates, plans, school, work, and travel.

Write less when less is enough.

Floriva can keep cycle notes on your device.
