Period App Data Map Worksheet
A worksheet for finding where your period data may live across apps, health hubs, backups, exports, email, old phones, and partner access.
Use this worksheet before you delete an app, switch apps, or send a data request. The goal is to find likely copies, one place at a time.
1. Start with the main app
Field Your notes App name Account email or phone Paid plan or subscription Last login date Export option found Yes / no / not sure Deletion option found Yes / no / not sure Support or privacy email Policy URL
Do not delete the app yet if you need an export. Save what you need first.
2. Map health hub copies
Check the phone health tools that may receive cycle data.
Place to check What to look for Your notes Apple Health Apps with read or write access to cycle data Health Connect Connected apps and data permissions Wearable app Cycle, sleep, heart rate, or symptom links Partner app Shared cycle view or invite access
If a hub has old data, decide whether to keep it, export it, or delete it there too.
3. Find loose copies
Period data often leaves the app through normal use.
Copy type Where it may be Action Export file Downloads folder, cloud drive, email Move, encrypt, or delete Screenshot Photos, messages, notes Keep only what you need PDF or CSV Email attachments, desktop, old laptop Rename and store with care Support message Email thread with app support Save receipt or delete thread Backup iCloud, Google backup, device backup Review backup settings Old phone Retired device or trade in phone Wipe only after backup/export
Use plain names for files. Avoid names that expose private details on a shared device.
4. Decide what to keep
You do not need every old note.
Data type Keep Delete Why Period start dates Period end dates Symptoms Pain notes Sex or intimacy notes Pregnancy test notes Medication notes Doctor visit notes Export file
Keep the data that helps you care for your body. Be more careful with notes about sex, pregnancy, location, conflict, or legal risk.
5. Send requests in order
Use this order if you are leaving an app.
1. Export the data you need. 2. Save a copy somewhere you control. 3. Turn off health hub sharing. 4. Remove partner or family access. 5. Send the deletion request. 6. Save the reply. 7. Set a follow up date. 8. Delete loose files you no longer need.
6. Receipt tracker
Request Date sent Reply date Result Follow up date Export request Account deletion request Health hub cleanup Subscription canceled Partner access removed
7. Floriva note
If you switch to Floriva, bring only the data you still need. A short cycle history is often enough: period dates, major symptoms, and notes you want for care.
This worksheet also works if you switch to paper. A useful map is one you can keep and understand.
