Menstrual Cycle Calendar Template
A plain period calendar template for cycle dates, bleeding days, symptoms, life notes, privacy choices, and visit questions.
A period calendar is a simple date record.
It works well when you keep it plain. Mark the first day of bleeding. Count from there.
Use this sheet for your own notes. It does not name a health issue. It does not give care advice.
One cycle calendar
Write the month at the top. Use one row per date.

If your cycle runs longer, keep counting. Do not restart at a new month.
How to count
Use period start dates.
Step What to do Your note 1 Circle the first day bleeding starts. 2 Mark that date as cycle day 1. 3 Count each next date as the next cycle day. 4 Stop counting the day before the next period starts. 5 Write the total as cycle length.
Official sources count a cycle from one period start to the next period start.
That count can help you compare cycles. It is not an exact forecast.
Three cycle summary
Use this after you finish a few calendars.
Cycle Period start date Next period start date Cycle length Bleeding days Hardest symptom day Note to keep : : 1 2 3
Look for simple facts.
Did the start date move? Did bleeding days change? Did pain or sleep change? Did travel, stress, illness, or medicine line up with a change? Do you have a question for a visit?
For a smaller first sheet, use the cycle tracking starter template.
For more symptom space, use the period symptom tracker printable.
Calendar symbols
Pick marks you can read later.

You do not need a long diary.
A few steady marks can be enough.
Privacy check
Cycle calendars can show private health dates.
Before you save, print, share, or export this sheet, ask:
Do I need the full calendar? Can I share only the summary? Did I add names I do not need? Did I add location notes I do not need? Will a screenshot save to photos? Will a file save to downloads? Will a portal or email keep a copy? Can someone else see this device?
The FTC tells health app makers to minimize data. You can do that too.
Write less when less is enough.
Soft Floriva note
Floriva can keep short cycle notes on your device.
That can help if you want one place for dates and patterns.
It cannot make exact period predictions. It also cannot control screenshots, exports, backups, portals, or shared devices.
For day counts, use the cycle day counting chart.
For phase notes, use the luteal phase date notes.
If your cycle is hard to count, read how to track an irregular menstrual cycle.
