I wrote any medicine already used that day. I added a question if heat felt wrong. I did not write care instructions for myself from one note.

Source backed reminder

MedlinePlus lists a heating pad or hot water bottle on the lower belly as one thing people may try for period pain.

ACOG also names heat for painful periods.

FDA says to keep track of pain, what it feels like, and where it hurts.

Question Your note Did cramps change sleep? Did cramps change work or school? Did cramps change care tasks? Did cramps change walking, sitting, or driving? Did heat make any task easier? Did heat cause a skin worry? What do I want to ask next?

Use plain words.

"Lower belly heat. Pain 7 to 5. Skin red for 20 minutes." That is enough.
