Mayo Clinic lists acne flare ups as a possible PMS symptom.
A log can show timing.
It cannot prove why the acne happened.
Questions to ask a clinician
Pick the questions that fit.
Could this timing matter? Could this be part of a PMS pattern? What else should we check? Does the location matter? Does pain or deep tenderness matter? Do product changes matter? Should I track photos or written notes? What symptoms mean I should call sooner? Should PCOS be part of the visit?
For more cycle timing context, read hormonal acne cycle mapping.
