How to Switch from Eve to Floriva

Step-by-step guide to export your data from Eve and start tracking privately with Floriva.

Eve is built by Glow Inc and shares the same cloud infrastructure. This guide covers how to export your cycle data from Eve and move to a tracker where nothing leaves your phone.

Before you switch

Eve is a period and sex tracking app made by Glow Inc. It shares backend infrastructure with Glow. The same cloud servers, data handling practices, and privacy policy govern both apps. Your cycle data, symptom logs, and any sexual health tracking you have done in Eve all live on Glow's servers.

Eve markets itself as the more casual, social option compared to Glow's fertility focus. But the data design is identical. Cloud storage means your information can be subpoenaed, caught in a breach, or used in ways the privacy policy permits at the time of a request. That may not be the policy you agreed to when you signed up.

If you have decided to move to an on-device tracker, the export process mirrors Glow's.

Export your data from Eve

Open Eve and go to your profile. Navigate to Settings, then Privacy & Data. Tap Request Data Export. Eve sends a download link to the email address on your account.

The export typically includes cycle start dates, logged symptoms, and any other tracking data you have entered. Download and save the file before taking any other steps. Once you delete the account, this history is gone from Glow's servers and you cannot recover it.

If you do not see a Privacy & Data option in your version, check the app's settings menu for Account or Data Management sections. Glow has moved these options between updates. You can also email [email protected] directly to request your data under CCPA or GDPR.

Set up Floriva

Download Floriva from the App Store or Google Play. The app does not require an account, there is no email, no password, no server registration. Setup takes a few minutes.

During onboarding, Floriva asks for your recent cycle history. Open your Eve export and pull out your last 3-6 cycle start dates. Enter them during setup. This seeds the prediction algorithm so you get accurate estimates from day one instead of waiting 2-3 cycles for calibration.

Rebuild your cycle history

If you have been tracking in Eve for months or years, your export contains valuable longitudinal data. Our guide to rebuilding period history after switching apps walks through how to transfer as much of that history as possible into a new tracker.

The key data points to prioritize: cycle start dates, average cycle length, and any symptom patterns you have been monitoring. Prediction accuracy depends on historical data, so the more you can bring over, the faster Floriva calibrates.

Delete your Eve account

Go back to Eve's Settings and look for Delete Account under Privacy & Data or Account settings. Complete the confirmation steps. Uninstalling Eve from your phone does not remove your data from Glow's servers, account deletion is the separate action that starts that process.

After deleting in-app, email [email protected] with the subject "Data Deletion Request." Include the email address tied to your Eve account and request complete deletion of all personal data, including backup copies. California residents should invoke CCPA Section 1798.105. Glow has 45 days to respond under CCPA.

Verify the deletion after 24-48 hours by attempting to log in with your old credentials. A successful deletion returns an account-not-found error. If you can still log in, follow up with Glow's privacy team.
