Ask what bleeding changes need follow up. ACOG says bleeding after menopause should be checked. Menopause means 12 months with no period or spotting.

Questions about labs
Pick the questions that fit.
Do my symptoms fit perimenopause, or should we check other causes? Would any lab work help in my case? What can labs show? What can labs miss? Should I be checked for anemia? Should thyroid testing be part of the visit? Do I need a pregnancy test? Would any test result change the plan? If we do not test now, what would make testing useful later?
Labs do not replace your symptom record. Bring both if you have them.
